Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest therapy team member, Catherine Brinkman, COTA/L!
Catherine (“Miss Cat” as the kids call her!) has been providing Occupational Therapy for the Pasco County Schools for the past year. In addition to her degree in Occupational Therapy, she has a bachelor’s degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Elon University, where she played four years of division one soccer. She is passionate about working with children and aspires to have an expertise in pediatrics including sensory dysfunction, reflex integration, and handwriting skills.
Catherine has been with us for over a month already, and has been going through training in the Sense Able Brain therapeutic techniques and protocol. During the interview process, Catherine completely ACED the pop-quiz we offer, demonstrating a knowledge level beyond an entry-level therapist. She has already demonstrated an innate ability to recognize needs and challenges within therapy sessions, and she combines energy and knowledge to make every therapy session fun and functional!
Catherine is originally from Clearwater, but now lives in the Lutz area. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with her family, and staying active. And she recently became engaged, so when you see her be sure to congratulate her!
Miss Cat is now accepting new clients! Give us a call at 813-803-3470 to schedule an appointment!
