What the Able Baby program helps support

Small signs of discomfort can affect your baby’s whole day. We look at the body, nervous system, feeding patterns, and early development all together.

Feeding support for latch, bottle and breast, positioning, and comfort during feeding.

Feeding should not feel stressful, exhausting, or painful for you or your baby. We look at body tension, oral-motor skills, positioning, regulation, and feeding patterns that may be affecting nursing, bottle feeding, or early feeding development.

Settling, regulation, body comfort, and routines that support rest

Some babies have a hard time settling because their nervous system or body feels uncomfortable. We look at regulation, tension, reflexes, sensory needs, and routines that may be making rest harder than it needs to be.

Gas, constipation, reflux-like discomfort, colic, and helping the body relax

Digestion and body comfort are closely connected. We look at positioning, tension, movement, regulation, and patterns that may be contributing to gas, constipation, reflux-like discomfort, or difficulty relaxing.

Tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, movement, and milestones

Play is how babies learn, move, connect, and grow. We support tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, reaching, visual attention, sensory development, and early motor milestones.

  • Trouble latching, nursing, bottle feeding, or staying comfortable during feeding
  • Gassy, refluxy, constipated, or uncomfortable after eating
  • Hard time sleeping, settling, or relaxing
  • Stiff, tense, curled, archy, or “always on”
  • Prefers turning their head one way
  • Struggles with tummy time
  • Flat spot or head turning preference
  • Delayed rolling, sitting, crawling, or early movement
  • Has had or may need a tongue, lip, or cheek -tie release
  • Extra fussy, sensitive, or difficult to soothe
  • Something just feels “off”, even if you’re not sure what
