Kim Hazelton, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist/owner

Kim has been an Occupational Therapist for over 20 kims-profile-pic-from-mandyyears with 10 of those years in the public school system. She now provides private Occupational Therapy to children at Sense Able Brain’s office in Lutz.  It is truly her passion to help children overcome their challenges and recognize their gifts, as well as provide parents the tools to foster harmony and relationships within their family!

In addition to being an OT, she is a Christ lover, a wife, and a homeschool mother.  She lives with her family and her precious Schnoodle pups in the Tampa Bay area, and enjoys every minute she gets to spend in the sun!

Marla Scaglione, MS, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist

14344231_1117792881589490_4445803394622101609_nMarla has over 20 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist.  Her career has included positions in skilled nursing rehabilitation, home health care, acute care trauma center rehab, and serving school-based therapy needs in the homeschool community.  She has been instrumental in helping many children improve their handwriting, learning abilities, and skills for life.

Marla is a homeschool mother to her three beautiful children.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her backyard chickens, gardening, fitness, and camping.

Stephanie Kolanko, MOT, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist

Stephanie has over 16 years experience working in outpatient and school-based settings.  She specializes in the identification and treatment of sensory processing difficulties that impact physical development, learning, and/or social- emotional behavior.

Stephanie moved to the Tampa Bay area over 7 years ago to escape the cold winters of W. Virginia.  She is married to her high school sweetheart and has three daughters and a grandson who is the light of her life.  She treasures spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and refinishing furniture.

 

Catherine Brinkman, COTA/L – Occupational Therapist Assistant

Catherine (“Miss Cat” as the kids call her!) has been providing Occupational Therapy for the Pasco County Schools for the past year.  In addition to her degree in Occupational Therapy, she has a bachelor’s degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Elon University, where she played four years of division one soccer.  She is passionate about working with children and aspires to have an expertise in pediatrics including sensory dysfunction, reflex integration, and handwriting skills.  She combines energy and knowledge to make every therapy session fun and functional!
Catherine is originally from Clearwater, but now lives in the Lutz area.  In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with her family, and staying active.
